Yesterday’s atmosphere in Kampala was marred with ugly scenes and the day ended bitterly.
The protests, according to Kampala residents started after the news of police harassment and disrespectful arrest of the presidential candidate Bobi Wine in Luuka, a district in Eastern Uganda.
Bobi Wine was reportedly arrested over campaign directives which the government claims to have been violated.
