Police authorities have stepped up investigations in tracing the death of a 27-year-old man on Monday by unknown people. The police have however effected the apprehension of three people suspected to have been involved in the assassination which occurred in Kuajok town of South Sudan’s Warrap State.
The father to the deceased described the late as hi s only son who was studying at the University of Juba and ran a charging business at the Kuajok market which sustained him and his family.
Speaking to journalists, the State Director of Crime and Investigation Brigadier General Chol Deng Kuol said the three suspects include two Ugandans and one South Sudanese.
The unfortunate incident according to State Director of Crime and Investigation Brigadier General Chol Deng Kuol confirms that “on the eve of August 8th 2021 at 8:00 pm local time, an electric power struck a 27-year-old man identified as Longar Deng and was rushed to hospital where the medical doctor injected him with quinine in drip and eventually Longar died.
After medical examination, it is confirmed that electricity struck the left hand of Late Longar Deng and CID personnel was prompted to apprehended two Ugandans Kayau Badi Andrew, John Bosco who owned generator and Dr. David Madut.
