It’s not true that we keep deluding ourselves, trying to convince people that all is well when it definitely isn’t. Power Sharing alone never been a peace that could be celebrates. Yes, you may win $30million to $50million during this power sharing, but that kind of change is no more than skin deep.

We would still continue to act out the same conditioned patterns in more luxurious surroundings. We know humans have learned to split the atom. Instead of killing ten or twenty people with a wooden club, one person can now kill a million just by pushing a button. Is that real change?

Shutting up truth and bury it under the ground, it can but grow, and gather to itself an explosive power the day it bursts through it will, it blows up everything in its way. A means must be devised for improving and clarifying the understanding.

Know that there is no single thing we know which is more excellent than a man who is guided by reason. There is nothing by which a person can better show how much skill and talent he possesses than by so educating men that at last they will live under the direct authority of reason. Thought must be absolutely free and must have the possible of even the most dangerous heresies.
