15/06/2020 (RUMBEK) – the recently formed rebel movement, 7th October Movement headed by Kerubino Agok Wol died today morning (11-12pm) in Rumbek, Lakes State.
“The 4 days offensive operations resulted in the neutralization, which was the killing of Wol Agok, along with two others at Ayen Mayar Villiage in Amukpiny in Rumbek East,” SSPDF spokesperson, Major General Lul Ruai told Eye Radio.
But a source within an army of SSPDfs from Lakes State said that him and his group were ambushed after their exact location was leaked by a spy and he was captured and shot in a close range on his right cheek leaving him dead instantly.
Mr. Kerubino who was a former national security captain, businessman and a philanthropist decided to take arms against the government about two weeks ago. The movement was formed in Bhar el Ghazal but somehow based its location in Lake State. https://ramcielbc.com/?p=342
Driven by fundamental ideas based on philosophy of Dr. John Garang and the quest for freedom by Nelson Mandela, the movement opted for a armed revolt which short-lived following the killing of its leader this morning. But it is not certain if it will be carried on or not as a number of its top commanders have been slain during the said battle. Kerubino asked the youths to join inorder for change to be realised, according to him.
“I have come to wake you up and remind you that your day has come, tomorrow
is already here.”
