Kenya based South Sudanese model; Amakou Telar on Friday helped a Kenyan man who begged only for 50 shilling online. The man who posted the heartbreaking message on social media made the supermodel break down in tears and quickly jumped in to help.
“My fellow Kenyans I am humbly asking anyone to support me with only 50 shilling I buy food please nakufa njaa, I am begging on my knee please nisaidieni”
Telar who discovered the trending on Citizen TV Facebook page broke down in tears and was the first to comment.
This broke my heart baaaaad 💔💔💔😢😭. I hadn’t watched News today, so I went to the Citizen Tv’s page to find out the number of Coronavirus cases today Then I came across this guy’s comment under their post 😢” She wrote on her social media page.
“For a person to ask for only 50 shillings to eat, this is SERIOUS 😭😭😭. I don’t have much but I’m willing to share my food and the little I have with this brother 😢”
She encourages Facebook friends to look out for each other since these are tough days.
“This life is not easy especially during this time of Coronavirus…let’s try to look out for each other. Today it is you, tomorrow it is me. Please, let’s reach out to him and help with the little we have. His number is there in his comment”
Hundreds of her fans poured in their heartfelt message of appreciation with pegging to join her cause.
