After pushing for reform within the much fragile disintegrated armed opposition-SPLM/A, Mabior Garang de Mabior is fed up and ready to form a new political party, Ramciel has learned.
Since SPLM/A-IO is no longer fighting for reform but rather to keep in power the status quo, the son of powerful late charismatic South Sudan founder is set for a great political break-up with FVP Dr. Riek Machar Teny’s armed rebellion, Ramciel has been notified.
The former deputy minister of Interior in the TGoNU is calculating his political formula for a massive shakeup. It is said, his party may be provide a path for a new direction in the world’s young nation.
South Sudan is known for lacking clear political ideology after the death of its founder, Dr. John Garang de Mabior.
Mabior who is believed to have had inherited part of such political wittiness from his late father gained much favor from the younger generation-now his fan base.
Speaking to closed aid with much knowledge about Mabior’s political thinking, it is just a matter of time, the young political genius will shake-up the nation.
“If you see and pay attention to the political condition in our nation, it is easier to see that Mabior can create a path for himself,” said the source with a clear understanding of Mabior’s political objective and moves.
But South Sudan’s current regime is known for killing its finest young energetic political ambitious. The death of Keribuno Wol last year in June is still fresh in many minds.
Some say Mabior may be a target from the establishment in Juba. One man closed to Mabior has challenged this thinking, saying the young man has cut to make. When and how Ramciel was not told.
With much disagreement with the way SPLM/A-IO is moving, Mabior has been vocal about the direction the party has adopted, which on many occasions he said “can not change the current” status quo in Juba. He called them “Luak Limited” referring to the politicians closed to his boss, Machar.
This week break the long silence Mabior seems to be known for. He is forming a new peaceful political party with wider support across South Sudan both at home and in the diaspora.
“Yes, by the way, he is silent but he is calculating. He will mold a new political party that is an inclusive, none tribal, peaceful with the support from the South Sudanese both at home and in the diaspora.” The source who spoke to Ramciel on Sunday said, asking his identity to remain under the cover for now.
Asked whether Mabior is ready for this task or he is just trying to copy from South Sudan’s neighbor-Uganda, where a young political leader to that of Mabior’s age raised challenging predominate one of the longest Africa serving leaders, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
“His political move is not that simple. He is working on making it big. He has the support even within the generals. Well, if he is inspired by Bobi Wine, nothing wrong with that. But he has this ambition before Mr. Wine declared or join politics,” Adding, it is just coincident.
Mabior is believed to has been inspired by Bobi Wine, South Africa’s Julius Malema, and several other Africa young icons currently active in the political environment of their countries.
If Hon. Mabior formed a new party to challenge the ruling elites in South Sudan, chances are that he will gain much attention.
“He is already popular. His National Conversation platform is most followed right now online social media. Mabior is the man to rescue the nation. None tribal.” Reaffirmed his closed aid with deep knowledge about Mabior’s thinking.
Whether the son of Dr. John will declare his new party this year or not, is still under much speculation.
