Gen. Johnson Olony has agreed to set foot in Juba according to sources.

Olony, the brave IO general who currently resides in Khartoum has been dodging calls to visit Juba delaying to be appointed as the Upper Nile State Governor.

Despite being the nominee for the gubernatorial seat for the Upper Nile State, the Interim Transitional Government of National has insisted that he should not be appointed until he ‘comes’ to Juba, the capital.

Speaking to Ramciel Broadcasting this morning, a junior officer from Sudan People’s Liberation. Movement In Opposition (SPLM-IO) had said that Olony is preparing to visit Juba in order to be read out as the governor of Upper Nile.

“People in Juba are ready to receive Gen. Jonhson Olony. He is preparing to go Juba for his position to be given to him by the President like other governors.” He said.

Another close associate from Khartoum who preferred anonymity has revealed that Olony will not take much time in Juba and that his appointment will take place within a week of his arrival.

“We do not want his appointment delayed as soon as he arrives and failure to which he will come back to Khartoum within hours. Talks have been arranged and President Kiir is ready to read out his name within the week he arrives in Juba” he claimed.

Without the full implementation of the peace agreement, the parties went ahead to form states governments which they instantly disagreed on last week. This further claimed time on when the agreement will actually be fully implemented.
