The South Sudan government has made a shocking move by imposing a month long lock down due to Corona virus.  Earlier today, the government announced new infections and deaths on what appear to be a second wave. But critics have it that it is a political motivation to restrict the movement of the First Vice President who is set to tour the country.

The head of the national Task Force, H.E. Vice President Hussein Abdelbagi announced the news on the state run Television SSBC this evening.

South Sudan has for a long time ignored the corona virus pandemic and for a record, the President admitted that the masses should learn to live with COVID-19.
