Deadly attacks on civilians from Longechuk leave more than eight people dead, sources with direct knowledge told Ramciel on Sunday.
The attack happened on Sunday at 6:30 pm in the house of Cpt. Joseph Dut an Army officer in Paloch. Dut hosted the civilians and after their return from a rescue mission in Panomdit.
The civilians held a meeting in the home of Dut, a relative to some of the guests. They were attacked and left eight people dead and seven more people wounded.
The sources who spoke to Ramciel asked for the name of those wounded not to reveal to the public until further notice.
Speaking to Nhial from Paloch, the civilians wounded are now in Paloch Jedid Hospital with no medical attendance. Only 2 Nurse from the military medical Corp is attending the facility with limited health care services.
Nhial believes the attack was carried out by the government soldiers who lured the civilians to their trap.
