The South Sudan People’s Defence Force Spokesperson Maj. Gen. Lul Ruai Kong is partially dismissed from his position by the President sources said Tuesday.
According to a source, the General said that he would be taking leave and cease from performing his duties for a while. But this has been said to be a step taken to make sure that the man who has been serving the government diligently is not sent away in any form of embarrassment.
The reason as to why the General is dismissed is linked to his recent press statement concerning border clashes between South Sudan army and Ugandan Army where SSPDF lost their lives.
Lul has been serving for the last four years in the army before his alleged departure from the post.
