Government troops launched an attack on the SPLM/A-IO Brig. Gen. Williams Gatjiath claims on Sunday morning.
The attack came a day after a massive peace concert was organized in Juba attended by the president of the republic. Kiir told crowd of thousands of people the peace has “return and no more war”.
In a short note published on his social media account (Facebook), the military spokesperson of the main rebel’s movement said the government launched a surprised attacked this morning in two of their bases.
“SSPDF Forces have now launched attacks on the SPLA (IO) bases at both Ajoh and Kirwa respectively, right now.” William wrote promising further details.
“Wait, details are coming soon!”
