Reformists are gearing up their final statement to removes the chairman of the SPLM/A-IO, First Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, sources familiar with Hon. Duer Tut’s thinking told Ramciel on Sunday.
Duer is reportedly gaining popularity amid heavy dissatisfaction among the diehard supporters of Machar. He commands huge followers both in diaspora and within South Sudan, recent reports suggested.
According to Amb. Both Yiech Yat, a former Machar aid to Cairo, it is time to act, fast and effective to save the people of South Sudan from the “politicians who careless” about regime change.
Both said, their group is commanding a great amount of loyalty even within the top SPLM/A-IO army officers. He, however, refused to disclose who are the top generals within the movement supporting their move.
He said the game is over and it is time for them to take the lead for a change.
“The SPLM-IO Members worldwide particularly those who are calling for reform, restructuring, and reorganizing of the SPLM/A-IO are at the moment in preparation for the great day of Declaration (the removal of dr. Riek Machar from the chairmanship of the SPLM-IO at any time soon ) for Our Movement to become strong and capable to face the current political setups in the country”
Both asserted that the call for change is a popular petition by the people of South Sudan. Thus, they are responding to the demand of the people.

Asked whether they will not end up like Gen. Taban Deng’s breakaway group in 2016. Both declared that they have the mental capacity and manpower to back up their move.
“No turning back since the leadership failure become clear to all Citizens of the world’s young nation”
