The South Sudan People’s Defense force’s military intellegnce chief has been summoned to Juba, sources said on Sunday evening.

The SSPDF Chief of Defense Forces Gen. JJ Okot under the instructions of the Commander-In-Chief has recalled Gen. Rin Tueny to Juba. This came after a section of Tonj East legislators demanded for his resignation last week.
An investigation committee will be instituted next week for Tonj East over Luacjang Community armed civilians battle with SSPDF which left 140 people dead, displaying hundreds of civilians. This will be a second committee to be formed after the Wau-Tonj incident last month under the same General.
Gen. Rin Tueny though was at the time of fight in Jonglei, he is still the head of the committee that formed to oversee disarmament country wide.
