Today, the first round of qualifications for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations Finals for the group South Sudan belongs is over.
South Sudan remains winless and failed to bag even a point today against the Uganda’s Cranes but played ‘cool’.
The match was played in St. Mary Stadium, Kitende in Uganda today at 4:00pm (EAT) where Uganda beat South Sudan 1 goal to nil courtesy of Halid Lwaliwa.
The return leg will be played in Nyayo Stadium in Kenya on 16th November which will mark the second and round of the qualifications for the Cameroon’s hosted tournament in the January of 2022.
Currently, South Sudan has zero point, Uganda 7 points, Malawi with 3 points and Burkina Faso tops the group with 7 points on goal difference.
